  • Any other information you voluntarily submit through forms on this site

When you visit this site, certain information is collected automatically through cookies, tracking pixels, and similar technologies:

  • Your IP address and general geographic location (country, state, or city level)
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages visited and time spent on each page
  • Referring URL (the site you came from)
  • Click behavior and navigation patterns on this site

3. INFORMATION FROM THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS

This site uses third-party tools that may collect their own data about your activity. These tools include Meta Pixel (Facebook), Google Analytics, and payment processors. Each is described in detail below.

---

PART 2: COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

4. WHAT ARE COOKIES

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. They allow websites to remember information about your visit, such as your preferences or actions. This site uses both first-party cookies (set by this site directly) and third-party cookies (set by tools like Google Analytics and Meta Pixel).

5. TYPES OF COOKIES USED ON THIS SITE

Strictly Necessary Cookies: Required for the site to function. These enable shopping cart functionality, payment processing, and account access. These cannot be disabled without breaking site functionality.

Analytics Cookies: Used to understand how visitors interact with the site. I use Google Analytics to collect aggregated data on traffic, page views, and user behavior. This data is used to improve the site.

Marketing and Retargeting Cookies: This site uses advertising and retargeting technology to track certain actions (such as page views and purchases) and to display relevant ads on social media platforms to people who have visited this site. This data is used for advertising purposes and may be shared with third-party advertising platforms. See Part 3 for a full disclosure of the specific tools in use.

Preference Cookies: Used to remember your settings and preferences for a better experience.

6. YOUR COOKIE CHOICES

You can manage your cookie preferences through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect site functionality.

If you are located in the European Union, UK, or another jurisdiction requiring consent before non-essential cookies are set, a cookie consent banner will appear on your first visit. Non-essential cookies (analytics, marketing) will not be activated until you provide consent.

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout

You can manage your Meta ad preferences at: facebook.com/ads/preferences

---

PART 3: HOW I USE META PIXEL

7. META PIXEL DISCLOSURE

This site uses the Meta Pixel, a code provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. The Meta Pixel tracks actions you take on this site, such as page views, product views, adding items to a cart, and purchases. This data is sent to Meta and used to:

  • Measure the effectiveness of advertising on Facebook and Instagram
  • Build custom audiences for retargeting ads
  • Optimize ad delivery based on conversion events

The Meta Pixel may link your on-site activity to your Facebook or Instagram account if you are logged in to those platforms. Meta's use of the data it receives is governed by Meta's own Privacy Policy, available at facebook.com/policy.php.

Where required by law (including in the European Union and UK), the Meta Pixel is configured to fire only after you provide consent through the cookie consent banner on this site. Before you consent, no Pixel data is sent to Meta.

If you do not want your data collected by the Meta Pixel, you can opt out of Meta's use of data for ad targeting through your Facebook ad settings, or install a browser plugin to block tracking pixels.

---

PART 4: HOW I USE GOOGLE ANALYTICS

8. GOOGLE ANALYTICS DISCLOSURE

This site uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics collects information about how visitors use this site through cookies and similar technologies. The data collected is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.

Google Analytics is used to:

  • Understand traffic sources and how visitors find this site
  • Track which pages are most visited
  • Analyze user behavior to improve content and navigation

I use IP anonymization (IP masking) in Google Analytics to reduce the specificity of location data collected. The full IP address is not stored.

Google's use of the data it receives is governed by Google's Privacy Policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

---

PART 5: HOW I USE YOUR INFORMATION

9. PURPOSES FOR USING YOUR INFORMATION

I use the information I collect for the following purposes:

  • To comply with legal obligations
  • To enforce the Terms of Service and protect the rights and safety of this business and its users

10. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING (EU / UK USERS)

For users in the European Union or United Kingdom, I process your personal data on the following legal bases under GDPR:

  • Contract: Processing necessary to fulfill your purchase or service request
  • Consent: For newsletter subscriptions, non-essential cookies, and marketing communications. You may withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legitimate Interests: For analytics, site improvement, fraud prevention, and security, where these interests do not override your rights
  • Legal Obligation: Where required by law

---

PART 6: HOW I SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

11. THIRD-PARTY SERVICE PROVIDERS

I share your information with third-party service providers only as needed to operate this business and deliver products and services. These providers are contractually required to protect your data and may only use it for the specified purposes.

Current service providers include the third-party platforms I use for payment processing, email marketing and newsletter delivery, e-commerce and product fulfillment, advertising and retargeting (including Meta Platforms, Inc. via Meta Pixel), web analytics (including Google LLC via Google Analytics), and website hosting and infrastructure. A current list of active service providers is available upon written request.

12. NO SALE OF PERSONAL DATA

I do not sell your personal information to third parties. Data shared with service providers is shared for operational purposes only, not for resale.

13. LEGAL DISCLOSURES

14. BUSINESS TRANSFERS

In the event of a sale, merger, acquisition, or transfer of business assets, your personal information may be transferred to the acquiring party. You will be notified of any such change in ownership.

If LIONEL.MKTG ceases operations, personal data will be securely deleted or anonymized within 90 days of cessation, unless a legal obligation requires retention for a longer period. Where a successor entity assumes operations, data may be transferred to that entity with appropriate notice provided to affected individuals.

---

15. HOW LONG I KEEP YOUR INFORMATION

I retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy or as required by law:

  • Purchase records and transaction data: retained for at least 7 years for tax and accounting purposes
  • Newsletter subscriber data: retained until you unsubscribe, after which it is removed from active marketing lists within 3 business days of the unsubscribe request. If you are enrolled in an automated email sequence at the time of unsubscribing, any emails already queued in that sequence will be suppressed as quickly as the platform allows, typically within the same processing window. Transactional emails related to existing orders are not affected by newsletter unsubscribes.
  • Customer support correspondence: retained for up to 3 years
  • Analytics and cookie data: retained according to the policies of Google Analytics and Meta Pixel, which you can review in their respective privacy policies

When retention is no longer necessary, I delete or anonymize your information.

---

16. HOW I PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION

I take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures include:

  • Using HTTPS encryption on this site
  • Relying on PCI-compliant payment processors for all transactions
  • Limiting access to personal information to those who need it to operate this business
