The Giving Plate began as a catering company and was ready to expand into a dual café and floral space. The goal was to create a place that felt like care made visible. Customers can buy a meal for themselves and choose to donate a meal or food to someone in need. As construction began on the business, they needed a brand that reflected their mission before the doors opened.

Built With Care
I developed two visual directions before finalizing a brand identity that captured The Giving Plate’s spirit of sharing and community. Centered on a simple circular mark symbolizing generosity, the design pairs muted greens, soft neutrals, and a warm golden hue to create a welcoming, community-focused feel. The result is a cohesive, approachable brand system that reflects both the café’s floral side and its mission to bring people together.

I built and optimized The Giving Plate’s pre-launch and landing pages to grow their email list and drive local traffic. Automated workflows handled new signups and a welcome sequence, while SEO and branded social templates helped the team maintain consistent visibility and engagement across channels.
One question shaped every decision: Does this feel genuine?
We built a brand that doesn't need to impress - it welcomes people in and lets the mission speak for itself. Every action, whether buying a meal, donating one, or sharing a post, helps move that mission forward and strengthen community connection.
